Sophie Wilkin holds an undergraduate degree in architecture (B.Arch.Sc) from Université de Montréal where she received the Jodoin Lamarre Pratte Scholarship for her final project. This gave her the opportunity to visit and study Japanese architectural projects. She is concurrently completing two master degrees in parallel, one at McGill University (M.Arch DRS) and one at École de Techonologie Supérieure (M.Eng) in construction management. In May 2008, Sophie Wilkin participated in the Habitat for Humanity Honduras project, where she worked on site articulating spatial and technical concepts in real time. Her interests in architecture lie in the interdependency between architecture and infrastructures, design and build and collaborative work. Sophie Wilkin is a strong woman. She is part of a competitive dragon boat team. She aims to paddle for an international student cup, and for sure, reach the podium!
